Founder, President & Executive Director
Steve holds a J.D. from Seattle University School of Law with an intellectual property focus and a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre with a performance concentration. He is known to some by his regular character moniker "Wanderer Sabaku" - especially in the Final Fantasy XIV community, Steve has been an advocate for the visual and performing arts since his childhood, having grown up with a strong music and theatre background. He has worked in community and professional productions as an actor, musician, tech and advisor. In games, he often looks for ways to play outside of the box. In AION, his favorite hobby is "rock climbing" - finding tricks to breach the area boundaries and get to new heights exploring each map's beauty. In Final Fantasy XIV, he often helps set and arrange theatre productions as well as activities like jump mazes.
Alisa (a.k.a. Nana Rue or Lady Unicorn) has vast experience in several areas that touch upon community and creativity including professional make-up artistry, creative LGBTQ+ collaboratives, and volunteering with agencies helping women and children at risk. She has been an avid gamer her whole life, but Final Fantasy XIV is different to her. She’s never found an MMO she was truly interested in until she joined the Playstation 3 beta in 2013. She is now an avid gatherer and glamour collector. She is the board’s resident Lalafell on XIV and can often be found grouping with other Lalafell or destroying cloudbreathers in PvP matches. Outside of the game, Alisa also has a background in writing, theatre and photography dating back as far as the early 2000’s. She has published various works for fandoms under a variety of pseudonyms and can often be found working on writing several fiction pieces.
Kira (a.k.a. Zaynava) has been on the A Stage Reborn team since summer 2016. She is a passionate supporter of player creativity in video games. Even before joining A Stage Reborn, Kira has successfully hosted creative in-game events for her Free Company (guild) on Final Fantasy XIV. She is known as A Stage Reborn's "leading lady" due to her great success playing in several lead roles in A Stage Reborn productions during its development including but not limited to several roles during Halloween 2016: Lunatic Pandora, Cornelia in I Want to Be Your Canary (2016), Woman in The Worker and Maria in The Story of Maria & Draco. Her vast experience in digital performance technique has given her a great level of expertise in the subject.
Tristan (a.k.a. Tsudin or Scline) has a background in gaming and expert knowledge on technology, often being the organization’s internal go-to for hardware advice. He has a sharp mind when it comes to micro-economy of an online games, especially Final Fantasy XIV. One fateful day in the Gold Saucer of Final Fantasy XIV, Tristan heard about an event by Promyvion Stage and decided to check it out. He enjoyed the event so much he helped out with in-game prizes, providing items and eventually volunteering to help with several aspects of event coordinating. He’s probably held the most titles of any A Stage Reborn team member to date! Additionally, Tristan has been streaming on Twitch since 2010 as Scline. One of his longest running streams has been his Final Fantasy Friday series where he completes a full play-through of every Final Fantasy game.
Garrett (a.k.a. Rayle) has been a part of A Stage Reborn since mid-2016. He has carried an interest in utilizing gaming as a creative medium, often finding ways to incorporate gaming into school projects and the like since he was a child. He currently co-leads a Free Company (guild) on Final Fantasy XIV with Kira. When Garrett first started playing Final Fantasy XIV back in 2015, he made initial contact through attending an in-game skit contest with Promyvion Stage, the initial form of the project that became A Stage Reborn. Greatly impressed by the quality and professionalism of the group, he continued to attend events, volunteer and eventually became a member of the board. Garrett studied game design and graphic design in college. His portfolio is available through the link below!
